The Rangelands Integrated Natural Resource Management Group is the body charged with guiding the investment in sustainable management of the natural resources of South Australia’s rangelands.

The South Australian rangelands cover an area of approximately 525,000 km² in the northern, arid and semi-arid zone of the state.

The region supports a diversity of land uses including a long-established pastoral industry on native pasture, conservation reserves, petroleum and mining, recreation and tourism, Defence Force activities and other military research and operations.

It also home to a number of regional population centres like Oodnadatta, Coober Pedy, Roxby Downs, Woomera, Marree and Innamincka.
