As part of this agreement, a Ministerial Forum was established to develop appropriate policies and strategies, in consultation with the Basin community, for the sustainable management of the cross-border river systems in the Basin. In addition, a Community Advisory Committee was appointed to provide the Ministers with advice directly from the community and to keep the community informed about the strategies and policies adopted by the Forum. |
