A LETTER FROM COONGIE LAKES

During October, 2001, Lake Eyre Basin Coordinating Group's Joc Schmiechen travelled to Coongie Lakes on the lower Cooper. He writes emotively of his observations while visiting this special place.

FADING TRACKS

In 2000 a group of old drovers and others from the Basin followed the old droving route down the Georgina, following the cattle pads of history. Helen Avery was the trip's scribe - read the trip's journal.
